Current practice
Richard Loveridge is the head of Freehills' Corporate group and, in this capacity, is responsible for the management and development of the firm’s largest practice group.
Together with its market-leading Mergers & Acquisitions and Equity Capital Markets teams, the Corporate group contains over 320 partners and solicitors with significant experience and focus on the energy and resources, private equity, managed funds, superannuation, financial services, technology, media and communications sectors.
Experience
Before leading the firm’s Corporate group, Richard was a partner in the Mergers & Acquisitions section of Freehills’ Melbourne office. He has broad-based corporate and commercial experience, with particular expertise in capital raising, mergers & acquisitions and securities law.
Professional background
Richard holds Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce degrees from The University of Melbourne. He also has a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Financial Services Institute of Australia (FINSIA). He is a Fellow of FINSIA.
