Freehills is acting for Boral Limited on its A$490 million capital raising to be used to finance investments and growth, including an upgrade of Boral’s plasterboard plant in Victoria, the potential development of the Peppertree quarry in New South Wales, the acquisition of the remaining interest in its MonierLifetile US concrete roof tiles joint venture, and to strengthen the balance sheet.
