In addition to our IT outsourcing experience, we have recently advised numerous clients in relation to software development, systems acquisition and integration, database warehousing, maintenance and support, licensing, distribution, agency and teaming agreements, including:
- Telstra Super on its IT service agreement for the development, licensing and maintenance of an enterprise wide software management application.
- Commonwealth of Australia in connection with the implementation of a logistics supply system for the Department of Defence.
- Vytel in relation to its telehousing arrangements for companies such as Visionstream to co-locate equipment on Vytel’s premises.
- Telstra in relation to issues relating to online and e-commerce contracting and sourcing transactions.
- BTI Australia in its extensive negotiations with the Queensland Government for the provision of an APS software travel management system. The BTI contract was the first contract in Queensland negotiated on GITC5 terms.
- Roads and Traffic Authority of New South Wales on various IT agreements, including software licence agreements, distribution agreements and maintenance and support agreements.
- AAMI in relation to the negotiation of software development and other e-commerce agreements for AAMI’s online presence.
- Pulse on its agreement with Travelex for the deployment of Direct Currency Conversion technology.
- John Fairfax Holdings on the acquisition of major IT systems used in its publishing operations.
- Impresario and Tessitura in the negotiation of licences and support agreements with the Sydney Opera Trust and its partner organisations Opera Australia, the Australian Chamber Orchestra and the Seymour Theatre Centre for a software ticketing system utilised by major non-profit arts and cultural centres in the US, Canada and UK.
- Roads and Traffic Authority New South Wales on its contact for its entire data centre which run mainframes. The contract encompassed, among other services, the operation of the DRIVE System, which controls all motor vehicle registration and driver licence application functions within New South Wales.
- MLC on its IT outsourcing arrangements with IBM Global Services Australia, including its novation as part of the sale of MLC by Lend Lease to National Australia Bank.
- MLC on systems acquisition agreements, and software development and licensing agreements for numerous IT projects including MasterKey, Zenith and MLC Unlimited.
- Lend Lease Corporation on numerous IT agreements, including for system integration, software development, and database warehousing.
