Submissions sought on telecommunications interception changes
The Telecommunications (Interception and Access) Amendment Bill 2008, which is intended to amend the Telecommunications (Interception and Access) Act 1979 (Cth), was recently passed by the House of Representatives and has now been sent to the Senate Legal and Constitutional Affairs Committee for consideration.

Telecommunication Amendment (Integrated Public Number Database) Bill 2006

It will amend the Telecommunications Act 1997 to place additional restrictions on the use and disclosure of information contained in the integrated public number database.
