Overview
Designs are those features of shape, configuration, pattern or ornamentation which create the visual appearance of an article. Registration of the design for a particular article enables the owner to prevent others from exploiting articles for which registration was obtained and to which the same design, or an obvious or fraudulent imitation of that design, has been applied.
