Freehills strengthens its client service proposition with the appointment

Freehills announced today the appointment of seven new partners, effective from 1 July 2005.

In making the announcement, Freehills’ Chief Executive Officer, Gavin Bell, said he was pleased and proud to welcome a group of fine men and women to the firm’s partnership.

“At Freehills, to become a new partner, you have to display certain qualities: strong technical expertise, an ability to gain insight into the critical and complex issues faced by our clients, and strong commercial acumen in creating client-focused solutions.

Our new partners are dedicated legal professionals who have demonstrated each of these qualities,” he said.

In addition to the new partner appointments, the firm also announced the appointment of 9 special counsel and 49 senior associates.

The seven new partners are from the firm’s Litigation, Corporate and Banking and Finance Groups, and the special counsel and senior associates span most groups across the firm.
