Current practice
Erica Hartley is a senior member of the Employee Relations team.
Erica's practice covers both the State and Federal industrial relations jurisdictions. This focuses on strategic planning for all aspects of the workplace and includes enterprise bargaining, dealing with industrial disputes, award and employment contract matters, contractor issues, safety issues and dismissals.
Industry experience
Erica has experience in all areas of employee relations including negotiating enterprise agreements, equal opportunity, occupational safety and health, dispute resolution including drug and alcohol policies, unfair terminations, workplace agreements and contracting out.
Erica works in close partnership with her clients to meet both their strategic employment and business goals.
Professional background
Erica has a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts (Industrial Relations) from the University of Western Australia and is admitted to practice in the Supreme Courts of Western Australia and the Federal and High Courts of Australia.Erica has been with Freehills since February 1992 and has worked exclusively in the Employee Relations section since January 1993.
