Industry experience

Rebecca has recently advised:
  • Coeur D’Alene Mines Corporation on its proposed merger with Bolnisi Gold and Palmarejo Silver & Gold to create the world’s largest silver company
  • Fairfax Media on its merger with Rural Press
  • Rinker in relation to the takeover bid by CEMEX
  • Metcash on its concurrent schemes of arrangement and takeover bid for Foodland
  • Burns Philp on the sales of various businesses including its Uncle Toby’s business, global yeast business and initial public offering of Goodman Fielder
  • Gresham on the establishment of the Gresham Private Equity Co-investment Fund.

Rebecca has First Class Honours in Law and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia and a Bachelor of Civil Laws from the University of Oxford.

Rebecca lectures in Corporations Finance topics at undergraduate and post-graduate level at Sydney University, and on Mergers & Acquisitions at Finsia.
