Corporate and acquisition finance
- Acting for Westpac Banking Corporation, Citibank, NA and Commonwealth Bank of Australia as lead arrangers in relation to the take-out financing for the acquisition by Fosters Group Limited of the shares in Southcorp Limited.
- Acting for Citibank, NA in relation to the financing for the acquisition by the Australian Pipeline Trust of Murraylink.
- Acting for Westpac Banking Corporation and Citibank, N.A. as lead arrangers in relation to the financing of a series of transactions involving the restructuring of the Alinta group and acquisition of a share of the Multinet gas and UEL electricity networks and other UEL assets.
- Acting for the financiers in relation to various bilateral facilities to refinance the Visy Global Manufacturing Group.
- Acting for Westpac Banking Corporation as arranger of a syndicated facility for Visy Industrial Packaging Holdings to provide acquisition finance and to refinance existing facilities.
- Acting for the Grand Hotel group in relation to its group funding and security arrangements, including its bank club facility.
- Acting for Westpac Banking Corporation in relation to the financing of the acquisition by Visy Industries of the Southcorp packaging assets.
Property finance
- Acting for the financiers in relation to the senior debt facility for the financing of the Queen Victoria Project, a significant property development in the Melbourne CBD comprising retail, office and residential precincts.
- Acting for Bank of New Zealand Australia in relation to its financing for the acquisition of various commercial office properties in Australia and New Zealand by SAITeysMcMahon Property Limited.
- Acting for the financiers in relation to the syndicated financing for the Eureka Tower development at Southbank.
- Acting for BankWest in relation to its mezzanine financing for the Nolan Tower and the Conder developments at Docklands.
- Acting for National Australia Bank in relation to the financing for the Cove Apartments, The Rocks.
- Acting for the financiers in relation to a syndicated facility to refinance and restructure the Visy property holdings in Australia and New Zealand.
- Acting for Westpac Banking Corporation in its structured financing arrangements for the acquisition by Visy of the Southcorp property assets.
Project and infrastructure finance
- Acting for Commonwealth Bank of Australia and BNP Paribas as lead arrangers in relation to the acquisition financing for the 'below rail assets' of the Australian Railroad Group.
- Acting for Transurban City Link Limited in relation to all financing aspects of the Melbourne City Link Project and all project and financing aspects of the Exhibition Street Extension Project.
- Acting for ABN AMRO in relation to its equity financing for the Emu Downs Windfarm project.
- Acting for OneLink Transit in relation to all financing aspects of the Automated Fare Collection System for the Melbourne Metropolitan Transport System.
- Acting for Transurban City Link Limited in relation to the capital markets component of its refinancing for the City Link Project.
