Geoff is a partner in Freehills’ litigation practice and is based in Melbourne. Geoff specialises in the resolution of disputes arising from building, construction, engineering, mining and infrastructure projects. He has substantial experience with arbitration, litigation, expert determination, mediation and other alternative dispute resolution processes.

  • CityLink Melbourne Limited in the conduct of claims made pursuant to the Material Adverse Effect Regime in the agreement for the Melbourne CityLink project
  • acting for a developer in relation to a major residential tower development
  • Saizeriya Australia Pty Ltd and its Japanese parent company, Saizeriya Co Ltd, in Federal Court Proceedings arising out of the construction of a food processing facility at Melton
  • Shell Refinery Australia Pty Ltd in relation to the Mogas Improvement Project
  • Uecomm Limited regarding the design and construction of a fibre optic telecommunications network in Perth
  • OneLink Transit Systems Pty Ltd in respect of contractual issues arising out of the Public Transport Corporation Automated Fare Collection System Project
  • Docklands Authority in relation to the remediation of the former gasworks site at the Victoria Harbour precinct
  • Olex Australia Pty Ltd regarding a dispute arising under an equipment purchase contract.
