Luke is a partner in the Projects group of the Brisbane office of Freehills advising clients on all aspects of infrastructure projects, commercial property developments and native title issues.

Industry experience

Property – acquisitions and sales

Some acquisition and sales projects Luke has worked on include:

• acquiring the Telstra office portfolio for a value of approximately $600 million
• working on the property acquisition for the Millmerran Power Project and all tenure, native title and cultural heritage issues relating to the mine and power station site and along the water pipeline and transmission line routes
• advising on acquisition phase of master-planned communities in Queensland including Woodlands, Yarrabilba, Springfield and Lockerbie
• acquiring and subsequent sale of Macarthur Central Retail Complex
• advising the responsible entity in relation to the acquisition of properties and subsequent syndication for the Investa Fifth Commercial Trust and Investa sixth, and
• advising on Investa's portfolio disposal of circa $1.2 billlion.
