Josh has acted for sponsors, equity and debt participants (including monoline insurers) in relation to PPP, infrastructure and energy projects around the world (including three years in London with Allen & Overy).

- adviser to Financial Guaranty Insurance Company as credit wrapper in relation to the successful Babcock & Brown consortium bid for the A$1.0 billion Royal Children’s Hospital Redevelopment PPP project
- adviser to FSA Ltd as credit wrapper in relation to the successful Deustche Bank/Plenary Group bid for the A$400 million PPP project to develop a new Melbourne Convention Centre
- adviser to Macquarie Bank Limited in its capacity as project sponsor in relation to the Industrial City of Abu Dhabi Extension Phase 1 PPP
- adviser to Benaris International on the project financing of its participation in the A$1.0 billion Otway Gas Project
- adviser to the Royal Bank of Scotland plc as lead arranger in relation to the GBP£260m Immingham CHP independent power project (the first merchant power project to be project financed in the new bilateral United Kingdom power market)
- adviser to the government of the Sultanate of Oman, as majority project sponsor, in relation to an LNG project in Oman
- adviser to Shell, as project sponsor, in relation to the US$4.3bn development and financing of a petrochemical plant in China
- adviser to one of the co-sponsors of a consortium tendering for a United Kingdom military aircraft PFI/PPP project (capital value of approximately GBP£3 billion)
- adviser to ERG Limited in relation to its successful bid for the Sydney Integrated Ticketing System PPP
- adviser to Connex in relation to its successful tender for (and subsequent financing of) the Hillside Trains passenger rail business in Victoria.
Energy and infrastructure (PPP) acquisitions
- adviser to Tasmanian Gateway Consortium (comprising Macquarie Global Infrastructure Fund III, Macquarie Capital Group Limited and Retirement Benefits Fund Board) in relation to the A$350.5 million acquisition of Hobart International Airport
- adviser to Industry Funds Management in relation to its acquisition of a 15.8 per cent stake in the largest refined petroleum products pipeline in the United States, Colonial Pipeline, for US$641 million
- adviser to Industry Funds Management in its capacity as a major equity participant in the GBP£2.2 billion consortium acquisition of AWG plc (United Kingdom)
- adviser to Industry Funds Management in relation to its acquisition of the A$200 million Perth Courts PPP project
- adviser to Industry Funds Management in its capacity as a major equity participant in the US$1.59 billion consortium acquisition of Duquesne Light Holdings (a listed US diversified energy company)
- adviser to Hastings Funds Management in relation to its A$574.3 million acquisition of the UK water business Mid Kent Water
- adviser to Industry Funds Management in its capacity as a major equity participant in the GBP£1.27 billion acquisition of ntl:Broadcast (one of two national UK broadcast transmission operators)

- adviser to Development Australia Fund in its capacity as a major equity participant in the GBP£1.2 billion - consortium acquisition of the Wales and the West gas distribution network from National Grid Transco plc

Josh is admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria, the High Court of Australia and the Supreme Court of England and Wales and holds Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) and Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degrees from the University of Melbourne.
