• adviser to ERM Power and Babcock & Brown in relation to the proposed development of a 600MW gas-fired peaking power station in Uranquinty, near Wagga Wagga
• adviser to NewGen Power in relation to completion issues on the 450MW Braemar gas-fired peaking power station in Queensland
• adviser to Alinta on the proposed extension of the Queensland Gas Pipeline and various gas transportation arrangements
• adviser to Alinta in the bid for the finance and upgrade of electricity transmission facilities for VENCORP and the provision of electricity transmission network services over a 30 year period
• advising National Grid on various aspects of the Basslink project documentation for the cable link between the Tasmanian and Victorian electricity grids including the engineering, procurement and construction documentation, connection agreements, connection asset development agreements and system protection scheme
• adviser to ABN AMRO in relation to the proposed financing of stages 1 and 2 of the 65MW Woolnorth Wind Farm project in north-west Tasmania
• adviser to ANZ Bank on the engineering, procurement and construction documentation and the supply and off-take arrangements for the 40MW gas-fired power station and gas pipeline at Esperance, Western Australia
• adviser to NRG in relation to the refurbishment of the 240MW coal-fired Playford Power Station in Port Augusta, South Australia.

Transport and Road Projects

• adviser to ADI Limited in the bid for the new smart card ticketing system in Victoria
• adviser to Balfour Beatty Rail in the successful bid (with Barclay Mowlem) for the strategic alliance with the Australian Rail Track Corporation for the upgrade of the Sydney to Brisbane rail corridor
• adviser to Transurban, Deutsche Bank, Leighton and Abigroup Consortium in the bid for and negotiation of the $2.5 billion Mitcham to Frankston PPP toll road project in Melbourne
• adviser to Transurban in the successful bid for and negotiation of the $1.5 billion Western Sydney Orbital PPP toll road project in Sydney
• adviser to Transurban in the bid for and negotiation of the $800 million Lane Cove Tunnel PPP toll road project in Sydney.

Water projects

• adviser to Worley Parsons in the PPP bid for the Barwon Water Biosolids Management Project
• adviser to Orica on the upgrade of the Middle River Water Treatment Facility for SA Water
• adviser to Transurban in relation to the design, construct and operate delivery system for the CityLink groundwater treatment plant in Victoria
• adviser to Victorian Channels Authority on the design, implementation and operation of an under keel clearance system for Port Phillip Bay.

Telecommunications projects

• adviser to Telstra in relation to a number of infrastructure projects, including:
  • the Darwin ‘aerial undergrounding’ project
  • the relocation of Telstra’s network assets in relation to the development of the Chatswood Transport Interchange
  • the supply and installation of a CISCO switch network for Ravensthorpe Nickel Operations
  • the provision of FPSO Microwave Radio Link for BHP Billiton Ltd
  • providing advice on various implementation issues with respect to the 3G 850MHz network
  • the supply and installation of optical fibre for the Woomera Range Information Network Upgrade Project, and
  • the supply and installation of telecommunications infrastructure in relation to Coastlink’s bid for the Gateway Upgrade Project.
• adviser to Uecomm with respect to the design and construction of telecommunications infrastructure for, and the supply of broadband services to, a number of educational facilities throughout New South Wales
• adviser to Transurban in relation to the call centre outsourcing and service level arrangements and the design, development and implementation of a natural voice recognition system.

Defence projects

• adviser to the Leighton and ABN AMRO consortium in the successful bid for the Defence Headquarters Joint Operations Command project.

Commercial and residential development projects

• advising Development Australia Fund on the acquisition of the Perth Courts PPP Project
• advising Development Australia Fund on the acquisition of the New South Wales PPP Schools Project
• advising Royal Domain Tower in relation to the construction and financing of the $130 million Royal Domain Tower project, St Kilda Road, Melbourne
• acting for the Flinders Wharf Joint Venture in the drafting and negotiation of the contract documentation for the design and construction of the $90 million Flinders Wharf project on the Yarra River, Victoria
• advising ANZ in relation to the $120 million financing of the Botanicca Corporate Park
• advising National Australia Bank on the $290 million financing for the design and construction of Eureka Tower, Southbank, Melbourne.
