The changing climate on climate change — The challenge for business



Climate change has emerged as a mainstream political issue in Australia. There has been a recent change of attitude to the issue on the part of the federal government and in many business circles. Yet there are continuing disparities in the responses of the federal, state and territory governments. 

All these things put business in a difficult position. Change, possibly major change, is imminent, but the nature of that change is not clear. This paper outlines the background to the present situation.
